Duties:

• The Insurance Verification Specialist will verify benefits for our substance use disorder treatment locations from various insurance providers with efficiency and accuracy.
• Ability to get accurate information from live representatives with insurance and navigate insurance portals as needed.
• The Insurance Verification Specialist will properly analyze various payer eligibility responses to find information to complete verifications.
• The Insurance Verification Specialist will accurately input data collected into KIPU and Salesforce.
• Provides excellent customer service.
• The Insurance Verification Specialist ensures compliance with federal, state, and local treatment related legislation and reporting requirements.

Skills and Requirements of the Insurance Verification Specialist:

• 1-2 years working with private insurance at any compacity
• Basic knowledge of how private insurance policies.
• Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM
• Experience with Google Sheets, Excel, and outlook preferred
• Good work ethic, punctual, ability to multi-task
• Must work well under pressure
